Lucia Okafor

I am a senior strategy and payments executive with over 18 years of experience across banking, fintech, and consulting. I currently serve as Global Head of Operations at Flutterwave, where I lead global payment operations and customer experience. Previously, I advised financial institutions, fintechs, and regulators at Deloitte, Strategy&, and PwC on digital transformation, payments innovation, and financial inclusion initiatives. My work has included leading the launch of Nigeria’s Central Bank Digital Currency (eNaira) and supporting the development of South Africa’s digital identity programme. Mentorship has been instrumental in my own career and I am very passionate about it.
